Reduce caps on nuclear power… global warming problem solved

  2. axe863 says:

I am a point? lol what

  3. ivy9857 says:

this whole thing is another fraud. dont forget that global warming is a proven myth

  4. JamesRideout123 says:

A carbon tax is just another step towards globalization. Inflation will happen whether there is a carbon tax or not. What people like
Al Gore are talking about is a tax on the very air you breathe and this has even been cited in many well known newspapers magazines and editorials. Their ultimate goal however is to bottom out the Us dollar and make way for the North American Union and the Amero. Lou Dobbs has covered the NAU. I’m surprised he still works on Cnn because of it.

  5. axe863 says:

The summation of the effects of expansionary fiscal & monetary policy and an increase in carbon taxes will cause an increase in the general price level ( conditional on the movement in the long run aggregate supply curve)

Increase in price level = inflation

  6. issareign says:

i guess i am a dumbass because i didnt understand that comment at all

  7. axe863 says:

If you aggregate the monetary policy, fiscal policy and this CB tax…. look forward to a much higher price level…… inflation

  8. axe863 says:

omg theres no such thing as overunity

    dumbass

  9. axe863 says:

Humans account for only 3% of carbon emission annually

not to mention the fact that the cia had mega super computers in the 50’s in order to supposedly fight the communists, who were insidantly funded into existence by the same people who founded the cia lol its all a big show to make you feel as if you have any input, but in the end, they will get what they want, and thats a carbon tax, neo-feudalism in other words.

  11. issareign says:

because they dont plant on letting the middle class rise up. the world elites only give us technologies when it suits them. take the iphone, and future phones to come, they can be used to track us anywhere we are, dial in and listen to us through the mic. the fact is, the military idustrial complex, which is just another part of the overall ruling oligarchy, controls all technology. computers invented over a hundred years ago. refridgerators 150 years ago, and theres plenty more.

  12. issareign says:

research the New World Order and it will become very, very clear. stay away from the alien conspiracy bullshit sites though.

  13. Slimdawgc says:

Not true. First of all, a good carbon tax plan will include an additional reduction in income tax, thus taxing pollution and encouraging work. Furthermore, the Green Shift included a plan for expansion into the alternative energy sector.

  14. delerium2k says:

the professor presents a fair enough logic but the problem is that the carbon tax only goes to enlarge the government bureaucracy. if those taxes could somehow be syphoned into a fund that would give grants to businesses/startups in the alternative energy industry that would be nice but realistically the gov’t will just create a new ministry which will set a whole bunch of new rules and regulations and trickle out little bits of money back into the economy here and there.

  15. AcePilot101 says:

The carbon tax was designed by bureaucrats to pick up a bigger paycheck! Carbon tax or “footprint” blurs the line between Carbon Dioxide (harmless and just .038 percent of atmosphere) and Carbon Monoxide (toxic). Al Gore and David Suzuki hate people and want us to feel guilty about industrial pollution.

  16. 5starrater1 says:

it’s just so crazy – plants and trees live off carbon. it’s just beyond insane.

  17. temujoe says:

No doubt big oil tries to muscle away competition and depletion of its market.. but methanol? So land for fuel just like ethanol? Doesn’t sound great. Telsa’s free energy? Yep, heard about it. Why isn’t anyone doing something about it if it can work? Any energy company could crush its competition with that.. and yet.. they don’t..

  18. Bound4War says:

this is fucking bullshit, fuck the carbon tax its just another failed step backwards to the massively failed disaster known as the Kyoto Protocol. that’s why i hate liberals they just think oh lets raise the taxes on everything we possibly can and problem solved. NO its not so simple! fucking left wing people

  19. turkeyjurker says:

anyone that supports this is supporting their own enslavement.

  20. wingnut4427 says:

To put it simply. The big oil company’s are responsible for this shit ! Not the drivers ! I doubt you’ll research anything I pointed out to you. But no one can say I didn’t try :P

  21. wingnut4427 says:

The alternatives have been suppressed by the Big oil company’s for over 100 years. Have You herd of the carburetor that ran 100 miles on one gallon of gas ? The inventor was offered to sell the invention & when He refused He disappeared & his invention vanished. Do a little research on it. What about Methanol ? The suppression of marijuana as an alternative fuel source. Lets not forget about Tesla’s contributions. If Warden Cliff Tower had been built We would hove endless free energy. Research!

  22. temujoe says:

what are the alternatives wingnut? voluntary reduction?

  23. temujoe says:

if you would just say it with more emotion and conviction.. I would believe you.

  24. epicurean05 says:

that makes no sense with an increase in public transport you would need more taxis and more buses which though energy eneficient would still produce a significant amount of carbon.if we actually stop using fossil fuels tomorrow i would see why a carbon tax would be necessary..but you have to realise a significant amount of fossil fuels is required to plant and harvest the crops in your supermarket which is already reflected in prices and in essence we are already paying a “hydrocarbon” tax

  25. bonobo80 says:

No, public transportation is a way to burn less carbon, so probably such a law would use some of the revenue of the tax, to actually lower the price of public transportation.

And the price of food would not increase with a carbon tax: you’ll get cheaper local food, while food that is imported, traveling from the other part of the world would be penalized.
